Salt air accelerates corrosion in standard hardware, which is why every White Rock installation uses marine-grade 316 stainless steel hardware and anodized or powder-coated aluminum frames as standard. Vinyl frames are not recommended within 500m of the waterfront due to UV degradation and salt pitting. White Rock's older housing stock (many homes built in the 1950s–70s for the retirement market) represents one of our busiest window replacement markets, with homeowners replacing original single-pane aluminum windows with thermally broken, triple-pane upgrades that transform comfort and energy bills.
